four-wheel-drive
I had a warning thing appear on my dash display on my Jeep today it has not been on before so I did not know what it was for so when I stopped I looked in the glove compartment for the hand book only to discover that it was soaking wet my first thought was that the windscreen was letting water in only then did I notice that one of the two mini cans of coke that I keep in there should I get a tickle in my throat when I am out had frozen and burst letting its contents go all over everything so I just thought I would worn others of the dangers of keeping cold drinks in the car. (it turned out the warning light was only for washer liquid bottle needed filling up )

bruno22rf
Similar thing happened to me but at the other end of the heat scale-sunny day-can of coke in the glove box=BANG-you wouldnt believe how much of the interior was covered in the sticky aftermath. throbbingfinger
I left some pens in a cup holder, came back to my car and the plastic had softened and the pens were all wilted like dead flowers. I've also had a plastic lighter explode as well.

WGD
Drinks and screenwash freezing, they've been frozen for weeks... wait until you diesel freezes, or at least gets cold enough for the viscosity to change and the car not to run properly Tam, when are we having a BBQ, will we wait until the warmer weather, say -5?
