retromlc is right, these are plastic and shine pretty good in the sunlight and when wet, ok if your shooting on a dry overcast day. Flocked are better, but that comes off eventually so I would recommend the rubber ones.

Click it or copy and paste it. Bit pricey here so try flea bay, or do a web trawl. Well worth the effort and they work well on the springy post they come with, or on a cradle. Silosocks work well too.

If you are hard up, use a milk bottle dipped in water, then ash from the fire, you will be surprised.

Whathave you actually done to the shells? Complete re-paint or coated them with something?

Have you used any of that white paint that gives off UV ( or whatever it is supposed to give off)

I have a pile of almost unused shells that could tarted up a bit

Thanks

Hi Mate,

it is a complete repaint, but there is no UV pint involved (don't believe that myself.) I have been messing around with different paint and methods for ages getting what I think is right and I think they work a treat.

without wanting to sound conceited, I intend to sell a few and the paint and method are a closely guarded secret. :yp: :yp: :yp: :yp:

'nuff said!

Good luck and let us all know if you get into production.

cheers mate, there'll be no dragons den appearance i can assure you, I was just going to take orders, and have a few spare for my mate at the game fairs.

let me know if you want some, or if you want your unused shells tarted up, I'm sure we can come to an arrangement.

We are all on here for the same reason after all :good: :good:
