Excellent to hear, perhaps the person who stated this was confused, cheers gents, problem solved

had mine on sec 1 fac for about a year stored at home when not in use as my other firearms are no problems, the only thing you need to be aware of when you purchase one it is for you to use and nobody else ie you can't give permission for anybody else to use your lbr

I was tempted sometime back, I shot the Ruger, which was a heavy beast and the Taurus, which is a near copy of the S&W but lighter.

They shoot PP at our club but I could`nt get on with them, not like shooting a real revolver :D although I do like the look of the Browning LB semi auto.

Also seen pictures of an interesting lbr made by a company called Alfa, looks like a Colt Python with a shoulder stock and detachable foregrip, can`t find any pics of it on Google at the moment though.

lowmillranges.co.uk can get hold of most things, they also do a lot of customising/conversions etc if you're interested. They wont be the only ones of course.Taurus were once regarded as S&W clones, but are now highly regarded in the States, but if it were me,it would have to be a S&W.

S&W don't make one but the Taurus is a copy of the S&W. A lot better than you think from listening to the negative comments on here. But with all LBRs the balance is wrong. So you want something light. The Rugers are horrible, far too heavy.

I agree, the Ruger Redhawk was never a 'looker' in my opinion, but there are weight/forearm extensions available which render LBR's more balanced.
