Dekers
Ok, this is leaving me scratching my head somewhat.....fill in some gaps here for me! Don't believe the Hype, you will not get a 1000yard useable beam and a 1.5 hour duration out of a 12v 7AH battery. I'm also struggling somewhat to know just quite why you want to light up the whole county with apparently a 1000 yard beam anyway, I didn't notice a dimmer switch. What rifle do you plan on using? ATB!
Billy.
You'd have fun lugging that around with you. I'd just buy a lightforce for about £
apache
Nah it's not a 1km beam, it is good and bright, and had a low beam and a powerful beam. It is an excellent piece of kit and I have mine mounted on the rimmies and no noticeable increase in weight, the battery is over the shoulder. Made in England and EVERYTHING available as spare parts. CB2 gets my vote
Ears
i take it you are saying you want it on a rim fire of some sort. but what .17hmr or .22 with subsonic ammo or something else. have a look at cu-light or lampforce. variable lamps are better if you can afford one. if you want a nice scope mounted lamp and have a deep pocket look at the new tracer tri star pro or tri star from Deben. i would not go for a million candle though to bright try 500.000. best of luck with your search. FalconFN
It's way too bright for an air rifle. You only need a lamp just bright enough to see a bunnys eyes at 30 yards, if it's too bright they will scarper before you can get near, especially if they have been lamped before, and any rabbits nearby will know you are there as well. Thank goodness someone else has the sense to realise that you don't need a 100 metre beam on a 30 metre weapon One sweep with those high powered lamps and you'll have an empty field. Billy.
didn't even spot that it was just for an airgun! Seriously, I thought you had a 50 cal or something Just a cheapo £15 light from B&Q will be fine for you.

Way to big for lamping and as said above all you will do is let em know your on your way before your even in the same field.
UKPoacher
I use a red torch for rats and rabbits. It has a 90 lumen red LED and runs on cheap batteries or rechargables. It is far less intrusive than a white light and is ideal for not scaring quarry that is further away than you can shoot. The beam has a hot spot around 30 yds away and I can see eyeshine from rabbits at 60 - 80 yds. The whole set up;- torch, pressure switch, gun mount and batteries is £30 posted.
