.17 hummer
ps new regs state only condensing boilers may now be fitted. in exceptional circumstances you can get a variation off the council to fit a standard combi but there rarer than hens teeth and normally only granted if theres nowhere to. run the condense line to .and there is generally somewhere . harryhawk
Go to http://www.rushcliffe.gov.uk/upload/public...agicboilers.pdf Whole list of discounted boilers you can get thru govt. Better than paying full price All energy rated, buy it and get a heating engineer to do the rest. Got a VAILLANT, heating 11 rads at the mo no trouble. Wookie
DI, I got a condensing combi put into my place in May. All told, it cost me about 2k cash. Took just over a day and that included taking the old one out, fitting a load of new piping to move the boiler upstairs and doing the TRVs on the radiators. The new boiler is bloody good though! apbuild
As a guide, the boiler should cost between £600 - £800 depending on type. Your local Corgi plumber should take around 4 hrs to change it if the pipework is not too difficult to re-route. I would say that labour should be £160 max. Hope this helps. Rob.
