Hodmedod.one
I phoned and ordered some reloading equipment and once-fired brass from Peter Lawman on 9th Feb. He didn't say that there was any problems with items being out of stock. He also took my contact phone number. 16th Feb, still not received my goods, so I emailed him to ask why. He ignored this. 17th Feb, left a message on his answerphone asking him to phone me. He ignored this. 20th Feb emailed again. Ignored. 21st Feb my son phoned him (I work 12 hour day shifts). He was told that he hadn't had any in yet (didn't actually say what) and didn't know when he would be getting any. Later that day, he emailed me "cases out of stock" Same day, I replied stating that I didn't mind waiting for the brass. I asked him to send the reloading items separately and send the brass whenever it comes in. 22nd Feb Peter Lawman replied "will despatch ASAP" 27th Feb I emailed him to let him know that I was still waiting. 1st March tried contacting him by phone. Ended up leaving a message on his machine asking him to phone me. He ignored this. 2nd March my wife managed to get an answer. First he didn't remember my order (hard to believe with the number of reminders I gave him). He then said I gave him the wrong telephone number to contact me on (hard to believe I got it wrong when I placed the order and the twice I left it on his answerphone). My wife said that he sounded like he didn't give a toss, so she told him to cancel the order. I recently ordered some stuff online from smartreloader.com in Italy. 3 days later I got exactly what I ordered delivered by DHL. Perfect. I ordered the stuff off Lawman cos I wanted Lapua once fired brass and some of his prices for other stuff are really good. having tried to deal with him, I would rather pay top prices and not get messed about. P*ssed off...you bet I am. Anyone know of anyone else that does .243 once fired Lapua brass?

jonno 357
Yup, that about sums up the Lawman empire. I know one or two guys who have placed orders with him and got total messed about. I believe he runs his business on a part time basis, his cutomer service is totally ****e, lies about what he has in stock and when you try and contact him its always an answering machine Jonno

Boltonwatcher
Hi has anyone ordered Vectan powder from Peter Lawman lately?
Alycidon
My dealings with Peter Lawman over the last 20 years have been faultless, yes he does run the business on a part time basis, its one of the reasons his prices are what they are. I would suggest that those of you looking to place orders in future ring him ( in the evenings ) and check stock, perhaps only order product that he actually has in stock with maybe a proviso that he contacts you when he has something else you may be interested in in stock. Peters work takes him all over the UK, one of his major wholesalers he collects from when he is in the area again to save money on haz mat carriage costs, this he passes on in lower prices. One of the things the most retail customers do not realise is that the UK retail gun trade is served by some very very poor large wholesalers who have sole distribution rights for the well known brands, there are of course some that are reasonable but these are very much in the minority. Vince Green
I have found him OK. We buy lots off him because he's cheap. On the OP about buying new Lapua brass, is it really worth it? Empty brass is usually nearly as dear as loaded rounds.
