Phone sportsman gun center, Im pretty sure they are the only shop who has them.

As for lop and shims etc, I would imagine its the same as the sx3

According to various US gun forums, google "SXP reviews" for yourself, the gun is made by Hatsan and has a very poor reputation.

Apparently the gun was going to be released for sale almost two years ago but serious quality control issues in Turkey meant that the first batch was refused by Winchester and it took time to sort out the quality control, the bugbear of Hatstands.

I have a Benelli Super Nova with which I`m well pleased, which is allegedly more than can be said for the many dissatisfied American purchasers of the SXP.

Sportsman in Newport had 2 on the shelf today one at £349 (26") and one at £399 ??? Looked nice enough

I saw one of those last week in Newport and decided to buy it lunchtime today. Damn thing was sold (it must have been sitting there since February and I miss it by one week).

Does anyone know where I can pick one of these up? I've looked around online but no joy.

Currently I have a Beretta A400 which is nice but tends to jam with cheap Hull cartridges so I shoot Black and Gold. This means I have the excuse that if I get one of these and it would pay for itself :)

If they aren't getting anymore in that will tell you something! Try eley rather than hull (Firsts/Olympics) for the A400..... Olympics are longer chamber and should cycle better than CompX which are shorter, Firsts are as cheap as CompX and a bit more recoil (good for a semi)
