monkeyboots
i know there has been a few different threads on here recently about semi autos but id like a few pointers i have a urkia 391 which has severed me well but i now fancy a change the guns i have to pick from are a 2nd hand xtrema2 at a grand a new maxus at 900 ish a new winchester sx3 at 800 ish or a 2nd hand beneli m2 although as this is a 3in mag im sort of ruling it out as i do a bit of wildfowling at the foreshore and need a 3.5 mag gun to fire the heavy steel loads the local gundealer is giving me a good price for my 391 in a trade in so what 1 would be the better gun to go for , the gun will be used for all my shooting rough, decoying wildfowling

JonnyR
I've had a Maxus now for 6 months and I love it. Have used a Breda (Benelli copy) in the past and it thumped like hell. Also used a 391 with the kickoff but didn't like the feel. As far as I know the SX3 is almost identical, being built in the same factory, apart from the slidy forend and the speedload facilty, which I love in the hide. I have a friend who shoots an SX3 very very effectively.... Needless to say if you shoot well with your Beretta, think carefully before changing, regardless of what you change to. Gunfit, how it 'feels' to you and of course, how well you shot with it, are the most important factors so try as many as you can before you buy. Jon. killer_pigeon
as above, try before you buy. the maxus fitted me better and i shot very well with it compared to the Beretta range of semi's.
