greg12
Bought a crow call from a guy in Belguim, selling on ebay, set up 5 full bodied crow deeks,3 rubber chook eggs,a full bodied magpie 20 yards behind the crow deeks, and 16 shell pigeons in another group just for luck! Hid in a tree line with full 3d camo suit/gloves/veil/GP Greener. Shot 5 crows in a hour, they didnt land but were literally floating above the deeks looking at them, had a magpie above me but could not get a clear shot,to cap it all had a buzzard float over the deeks and floated past me 15 foot away from me,was hoping he was going to attack a deek! Can recommend the crow call, will be going out again this weekend.

steve_b_wales
Another excellent Crow caller for aound a tenner is the Primos Power Crow call. used correctly, it brings in the crows from afar. I have used it many times and can call in crows, jackdaws and rooks. Well worth the money.

Catweazle
The law seems a bit strange on this one. Apparently it's illegal to use a recorded bird to call in one to shoot. But, it's not illegal to use a device that makes a sound like a bird. So with the new electronic devices is it possible to use one that synthesises a bird call, but hasn't actually recorded one ? If the synthesis was done well how could you tell that it wasn't a recording ? Also, if for example I was using an electronic crow distress call to tempt a fox and a crow took a fancy to it can I shoot said crow ? Messy. Messy. the law states, electronic, so weather it was recorded or syntheseis, surely, its still electronic as for luring foxes in, but shooting a crow instead, most fox calls are used at night, so doubtful you'd have crows flying about, but either way, it would still be illegal, your still pulling the trigger, after all, you could say NO to the kill
