falconer1975
Well i have finally got my new air arms s400 up and running and what a piece of kit it is. I have had the Walnut s400 classic with moderator and tasco 6-24x50 Ao scope. I had it all set up by Dave at Staffordshire custom rifles and took it down to my local club on the indoor range, set a target at 25 yards and put 10 shots on the bull on a PL14 target and repeated this with four more targets, i was well impressed how consistant the rifle is. Now i just need to get some pest control permission

CoolColonna
Does the Air arms s400 carbine version have multi shots or is it just like the original s400 with a single shot? Many Thanks.
hoTshoT-16
the carbine is the hunters choice because its shorter and therefore more handle through dense woodland, and is a single shot
FalconFN
Does the Air arms s400 carbine version have multi shots or is it just like the original s400 with a single shot? Many Thanks. s400 is single shot and s410 is multi. You can get retro-fit mulishot mags from Rowan Engeneering to fit an s400 but they will need manual indexing. I gave the both the S410 and S400 a long hard look before opting for the Brocock Concept, didn`t want a multi-shot so the Brocock is perfect. Though have to say I really like the S400 might look for a good 2nd hand one. All I need now is somewhere that has a pidgeon problem. falconer1975
Another question for you all, pellets for hunting?? When on the range I use bisley practice and find them to be great, have no problem putting one on top of the other. But hunting wise I want a good weight but not to heavy, I am using .
blackthorn
try rws supper domes, air arms field if you want to Se how accurate a pellet is try 60/70 yards got to be on a still day or in daws, a lot of pellets are good out to 30 yards, put some distance on them and Se how accurate they are good to play
