proTOM1 Posted March 15, 2011 Report Share Posted March 15, 2011 Was joined today by decoying mad and everything looked good yesterday lots of birds working the field so was hoping for a good day . We got to the field this morning and could only see around 100 yards due to fog anyway dm went 1 side and i went other side of the field ,there was a good wind so thought it would blow the fog away . It was slow my first shot was a crow then i got 2 woodies but dm was getting nothing .S o at 11am i got him to come to me as i was atleast getting a few shoots . He got to me and i was on 12 birds but the fog was thicker than ever ,at around 12.30 it cleared a bit and a few more birds were seen . We were getting stuck in to the ferals and they were giving us some good sport ,we had a huge flock come in and we both had same idea just to shoot at the mass which brought 5 birds . In the end not a bad day but i would say it could of been better with out the fog for most of the day .
