Isaac Davies
I'm looking to buy a new scope for my Webley Longbow (Brummie) and came across an article expressing the need for a spring-rated scope if you are using a spring air gun. Here is the link to the article: http://www.scopesguide.com/air-gun-scopes.html Cheers in advance. Isaac
the enigma
I have a Nikko Sterling Airking on my .22 XL Tactical. Good scope for the money and holds zero well.
olly321
ive never had a problem with scopes on springers as long as you have the right mounts, ive had cheap scopes and expensive ones and never damaged a scope ,and ive been shooting 40 years

Paddy Galore!
one thing to look for is a "glass etched reticle", these don't break or knock out of alignment. but most of all mounts, with a locating pin.
Deke
[The Nikko Sterling Airking scopes are excellent value and as tough as old boots. I have had a 3 - 9 x 42 on a magnum springer for 3 years and it has never lost its zero. The Hawke scopes are good too and most are rated for all calibres.
