Cheap gaiters never last very well. I had a pair of Hoggs ones which lasted two days beating. The Le Chameau ones have done the rest of the season no bother, expensive but they are still going.

The micro fleeces from Aldi look alright though, might pop in later and have a ganders.

They seem of better quality than a £30 gortex pair I purchased recently, which are not very riged and slip down unless you pull the draw cord excessively tight

They will be good enough for walking through wet grass etc :good:

Others I have had, barbour, yeti and some army issued ones all stood up to some harsh treatment and lasted for a satisfactory time :good:

I`m new to gaiters having never worn them before but I bought two pairs of these having closely examined them. It`s hard to see how they could have made them any more robust, especially at the price.

They have knocked out some korkers over the past year. I picked up a pair of thigh waders for the old fella for less than a score and really didnt expect too much from them. He reckons that they are the nuts. They are just as well made as my pucka ones
