WGD
What's good out there, I need a new pair of DECENT boots for work. I don't spend much time on the tools (as little as possible ) so I am not hard on my boots, but they must satisfy PPE requirments. Thought about buying the Meindl Airstream chainsaw boots? Any recommendations?
Bleeh
These: http://www.shoe-king.co.uk/wwd1-p-brown-safety-dealer-boot-sbp-12-p.asp I've got two pairs, the first I wore for 18 months (still intact, the leather looks knackered now) and I've must of walked thousands of miles in them. I went and bought a second pair, just for something a bit smarter looking. They are easy to polish, look good, and are pretty much indestructible, which is a feat in itself as I used to get though boots at the rate of one per 4-6 months. Paddy Galore!
Jallatte's are pretty comfortable, chainsaw boots tend to be a bit rigid?

Catweazle
My feet ache if I have to carry a lot so I use Sorbothane insoles which take the shock out. Like walking on air.
