Bluebarrels
He needs to swap his camcorder for a 12 guage and some heavy loads otherwise that fox will be moving into his house BB
mpk
Amazing how cheeky he was, next time I would use his courage against him and wait for him to come close in and give a few heavy loads from the shotgun Edited May 18, 2011 by mpk
TaxiDriver
That cheeky ******* didn't look anorexic either did he He'll be back no doubt about it, and judging by the fact the farmer had a camcorder to hand, he's been there before I'll bet. As someone else said, he needs a heavy load from a 12g next time he's so brave/cheeky.
Frenchieboy
That is either one very tollerant chap or a "Furry Friend Hugger"! I am very surprised that he didn't let the Rotty go at the fox straight away. As for the fox, I suspect that it could have been "hand reared" by a "Furry friend Hugger" which would explain why it just didn't seem to have any fear of humans and why it looked to be in such good condition! I had to chuckle at the way the fox stopped to lift it's leg against a tree every time it got chased way as if to say "That's what I think of you", it certainly made me chuckle! There's never a gun around when you want one is there! Edited May 18, 2011 by Frenchieboy
FalconFN
I can't imagine he'll have those chickens for very long. Foxes are stunning looking animals, and I'm not in the 'every fox must die' camp, but that one needs getting rid of - and saying "No, you can't have my chickens" won't work. Did anyone else think that he looked a little bit like Tony Robinson?

Did anyone else think that he looked a little bit like Tony Robinson? I have to agree with you there! I too am not of the opinion that "The only good fox is a dead fox" (I know that there are exceptions to the rule, expecially where there are game rearing pens in the area or lambs being taken by foxes) but if that particular fox is not dealt with pretty soon that chap with the video is going to go to Tescos for his eggs! I could happily assist him if he wanted me to!
arjimlad
I have been watching too many videos on PW .. Kept waiting for the "bang" ! "You can't 'ave me chickens !" ...Fox takes a pee and says "Oh yeah, who says ?" That rottweiler wasn't fast enough.

To be fair, you let chickens run around in the woods and Charlie is going to want to eat them - you're in his habitat and it's natural. On the other hand though, urban foxes are in my habitat and I need to avenge the loss of three guinea pigs last week.... And protect the other eight.
