Fenlander
ok this may be me just being thick ,but I keep seeing posts about the PW arms, Now I am assuming this a a chat room type thing, and I can see the icon at the top of the page PW Arms, but when I click on it, all I get is a blank green page with a small white square with a red cross in it , there are some options on the side of the page ,but if its a chat room why cant I see anybody posting ? can anybody throw some light on this for me please? Thanks Mick.

lurcherboy
It can take a while to load and you need a Java something or another. I am sure someone on here will tell you what and how to download it. How long do you what for the chatroom to open? I sometimes have to wait a few minutes. hawkeye
you need to make sure you have JAVA downloaded
Cranfield
You have to have Java enabled on your PC. http://www.java.com/en/download/index.jsp
Fenlander
Thanks for the replys chaps , I went on that link you put up cranfield, and clicked download, however AOL blocked it, as I had loads of problems with my old PC ,and this new one is running without problems ,i'm very wary of downloading stuff these days,I do'nt want to go back to the days where my PC crashed every 10 mins so I guess the PW arms will have to remain a no go area for me . Thanks again ,Mick.
Cranfield
I can't understand why AOL blocked it , Sun Microsystems is reputable software and shouldn't give you any problems.

the lizard
Thanks for the replys chaps , I went on that link you put up cranfield, and clicked download, however AOL blocked it, Hi Fenlander, I'm on AOL and I have the same problem. Cranfield
If this is due to AOL's built in Firewall, you should be able to disable it, make the download, then reinstate it. Java Script is used for so much Internet content, that I can't believe that AOL blocks it. I would be asking them "Why?".

Hairy Pat
Took me about 5 seconds to get in with a 2 meg conection. I've the latest version of Java and Zen internet for my ISP. If you have problems with AOL the best thing to do is change them, but watch which ISP you choose as some cap your downloads as a new user. Axe
I honstly thought AOL meant 'Allways Off Line' but apparently it actually means America On Line. Maybe thats why it doesnt as were not in America.
