Get under it with a wire brush (wear goggles) and scrub away. Done Buy a £25 can of WaxOyl and spray the chassis. It'll protect it and should last ages. Edited June 7, 2011 by Billy. Dirty Harry
Its a bit to thick for a little spray bottle. I used a spray gun on a compressor and had to thin it down a bit with some white spirit. You can get some special waxoil sprayers that fix onto the tin but not as good as a compressor. It would also take forever using a little spray gun. Other than that, yes, you can paint it on. It dries out and becomes invisible (you can buy one that is black) and when you touch it, it's a sticky waxy coating which is impenetrable. al4x
that guy is having a laugh! £340 for a 4x4 garage in kelso done my mitsie for £140  depends, how well this all works is down to the preparation, if its steam cleaned properly and then blown down well with a compressor and then any loose bits removed etc it is a slow job. You could of course just throw waxoil on top of whats there but it won't do the same job, its a ****ty job as well
