Ian E
Hi Nick looking forwards to this one !! just a couple of questions, is there a pay out just for High Gun ? or thru the classes ? Also like myself I'm sure there will be a few people shooting that may not already have a classification, which they be classified on the day into the appropriate class ? Likewise, will shooters without a classification or shooting birds only still be eligible to take the regional championship ?
timps
I also have a couple of questions...... 1) Is there a dress code, I only ask because Chard is attending? 2) What are the security arrangements for unattended boxes of cartridges, is there CCTV just in case any are stolen? 3) Have any of the referees officiated at or are thinking of officiating at a DTL event? 4) Do I have to have proof of identity or a letter from my mum in case the DTL ref does not believe who I am? 5) Am I allowed to talk to myself mid stand or is my alter ego considered outside coaching? :P Edited June 14, 2011 by timps
paulos
Also like myself I'm sure there will be a few people shooting that may not already have a classification, which they be classified on the day into the appropriate class ? Likewise, will shooters without a classification or shooting birds only still be eligible to take the regional championship ? Any current member whose name does not appear in the current copy of the CPSA Shoot program, in the discipline being shot, will be classified on the day, for that event only, according to the following procedure, unless he/she can produce an official CPSA certificate on the day duly completed, signed and stamped: a) All disciplines except English Sporting: 1. 25-target shoots - the percentage score will be used to obtain a classification according to the official cut-off points shown in the Classification CD. i.e. take the total score out of 25, multiply it by 4 and measure the result against the cut-off points to classify the shooter. 2. 50-target shoots - the percentage score of the first 25 targets will be used as above. 3. 75-target shoots - the percentage score of the first 50 targets will be used as follows: take the total score out of the first 50 targets shot, multiply it by 2 and measure the result against the cut-off points to classify the shooter. 4. 100 to less than 200 target shoots - the percentage score of 50 out of the first 75 targets, drawn by stages at random, will be used for classification, i.e. take the total score out of 50 (from the two rounds drawn at random out of the first three), multiply it by 2 and measure the result against the cut-off points. 5. 200 or more target shoots - the percentage score of 100 out of the first 150 targets, drawn by stages at random, will be used thus: draw 4 rounds at random out of the first 6 and use the total score from these 100 targets to classify the shooter. Anybody can win badges and trophies, so long as they are a full member and are from that County, regardless of whether they go birds only or comp. You must go comp to win prize money though

A class will give the comp entry a swerve as well Nick, is the 80 bird open sporting a competition, with prize money in the classes, or is that birds only? We've tried that before but it's like flogging a dead horse - pointless :o 2. As per Spennymoor on Sunday, if you can swipe a box of 25 off Paulos you win the side competiton (and get to keep the cartridges) 3. NONE 4. It's always worth having a sick note in your bag incase someone has already used any of the "night before", "my new cartridges from Paulos" or "the coffee is bad" excuses already 5. We now consider this a normal part of your pre-shot, mid-shot and post-shot routine, so chat away
