18 hours?! And you want to spend any time you do have spare cooking for this rabble?!

Just get back to us when you can, no rush. I think the 14th is ok with me. I'll check with the mrs. :good:

When you get a moment can you just tally up on here what evryone has offered/what you have, and what you need if possible? I'll spend a few days before hand trying to make sure anything you're short of is in the bag.

I've seen your shooting so i think you better get a few weeks not days notice

14th should be good.

I whacked a Roe today. If you need any of it then let me know. It'll hang in the chiller for a few days and then I'll freeze it, but let me know if it's needed. Back end only, I wrecked the front unfortunately.

That would be superb. Any you can spare really.

Let me get the airshow out of the way this weekend and then I have a week off. I will be able to spend a bit more time organising things and will post a bit more here

Many thanks Nick

I've decided to have a bit of a better look at it now as i'm not very tired yet and I fancied a beer before bed.

So as far as I can tell these are the members who can make it so far and what they are able to provide/cook. I would just like to say to anybody who can't bring anything that it is not by any means a problem and you would still be more than welcome to come.If you can just bring what you are going to drink that would be great.

silver pigeon 3- pigeon kebabs

blunderbuss- pastry products from heaven (ok pasties :hmm: is that plural for a pasty)

activeviii - pigeons

njc110381- venison haunch

bakerboy- bread/ goats cheese

fisherman mike- beer

thunderbird- wine + guest (I reckon it's either a male escort or a stripper)

hendersons- food, wine, and a couple of uncle Bobs finest ciders

stripey 999

Could those that have promised meat and would like me to cook it p.m. a number so I can give them a call at some point to arrange collection of it as it would be good to get a bit of time to prepare things before the day.

If anybody else can make it then shout up and I will add you to the list.

All the best for now Nick

And may we ask....whats left of it neil? lol

Well I shot it on a bit of a naff angle as it was about to run and had to be taken. And I hit it with the .338 as it's the only scoped Deer gun I have at the minute. So what can I say? I broke it. Only the back bit is ok!

Onlt problem i have is i will not be eating much.

cant eat gluten, lactose and a hole host of other things so i will just be along for the chat.

Phil.

Don't be silly. I'm sure you'll end up eating a pasty at least? I seem to remember from last years game fair it only takes you about a week to recover from eating gluten?! Mind you I don't feel sorry for you one bit. You did eat more than one large pasty which even I thought was pushing it and they don't bother me!:oops:

Sorry all should have probably said the 14th in the evening.

Some goats cheese would be wonderful it's without a doubt my favourite.Thankyou very much baker boy. Though it has to be said it would appear one or two of our number seem to be getting a little too broke back mountain about it. I didn't realise we had members frOm the forest of Dean.

Phil p.m. A list of the things you can't eat I should be able to sort something out for you without any hassle. I've catered for pretty much everything over the years so if it's more than just lactose and gluton intolerance don't sweat it you will be eating with the rest of us on the evening.

Neil I will give you a call on Monday about the bambi bits what time is best for you.

All the best for now chaps Nick

Yeah, they were **** with a capital S! I mean really bad. I'd rather eat a dead skunk than eat those sausages again! I don't know what I did wrong but man were they awful!:oops:

If it is possible to make something bunny based that I like - well I'll be in your debt for ever! I shoot so many and to be honest I just can't face eating them! It's a real shame and such a waste. I give away a lot but I can't get rid of all of them.
