It was awesome wasn't it? :P

Well shot Nick :good:

I agree the opportunity was missed for promotional activity, surprising really. :hmm:

It was good; getting that old clapper of a 682 sorted whilst you were there would have been awesome ;)

Forgot to mention that the Beretta goodie bag was decent though - magazines, brochures, Beretta cap and Kings Ginger = win! :good:

I shot my socks off on Friday and managed 95 in C although looks like top is now 103 :(

But I have to agree with Nicky T, the whole Beretta display was quite poor. I really like the venue/scenary but then my only other experience of a 'major' is the English Open at Southern Counties lol.

Thankyou :)

I'm slowly improving, been having quite a lot of coaching and dedicated practice in an attempt to improve. Just started shooting a few registered shoots this summer generally in the 63-70 range so things are looking good. Am thinking of having a go at the British Open sporting and/or the Southdown masters?

Wow thanks for that offer,Nicky! I'll have a think about it, because I would be travelling up from Devon I was toying with the idea of staying over. I'm also not sure whether I would be able to concentrate properly for 200 birds in a day. Do you guys struggling with that or do you go to multiple registered shoots in a day?

Mixed results shooting 200 targets in a day so far - at first it's overwhelming but you do get more used to it. If you're going to try it then the likes of the Grand Masters and Essex Masters are the places to do it as there's no unnecessary travelling or rushing compared to trying to shoot two registered comps in the same day ;)
