Had about 40 entries, bit thin on the ground but enjoyed the day. 7 stands on and got a few ideas for 70 birder next week when we will have 9 stands on.

Steve missed single high house station 7 for his full house on skeet :lol: Did he bite or what!!!!!

I wish I had!

I'll be down for the 70 birder next Sunday. I was going to go to Rufforth or Thimbleby first, but can't be bothered with either now.

I bet Steve's knees were knocking on that last bird!

Only managed a 61 at North Wold but i have to say i did enjoy it very much. The targets were quite tricky. What did you end up on Paulos? and what was high gun? See you next week at Marne for the 70 birder. Don't forget Saturday at Thurn for the charity shoot >> from Auntie. :good:

Well that was a long way to go to see so many long faces, plenty of edge on testy birds today, I think we got a little lucky with the weather shooting the first 9 stand before the rain started, we had the last 3 stands by the farm house left to shoot.

The rain let up a little so what should of been maybe 20 mins of shooting in light rain turned into an hour standing around waiting for the to fix the traps :(

The rabbit stand ran out if petrol mid way thru which was quickly dealt with, but the que was pretty big as the simo pair stand had been broken down for some time.

After much waiting and swapping of traps and mucho skin soaking rain, I couldnt see a bloody thing as my glasses were full of water :) I really must get myself a cap !! (insert sponsorship logo here)

Me 67 let at least 5 away I shouldn't, which put me 1st in C Class when I left, but there were still a few cards to come in

63 for Dave Walker

55? Chris Ellis

And I won't mention Keiths in public else he will kill me

I think a lot of people just gave up trying half way around, good targets on the whole good refereeing, just a shame about the break downs, and was that 3 pair on report of the same White bird dropping down the bank all about someone stuck for ideas ?

Next outing for the Merseyside mafia on the 24th !

Perhaps it was the rain that caused the 'long faces',can't have been the targets

Okay so it was the toughest 100 at Wolds i've shot for a long time but the targets were great and presented with different speeds and angles. The farthest targets were down the dale but all shootable

I think the trouble for most of us was that we were outsmarted by clever target setting that you just don't see everywhere these days :good:

If the white 3 pair stand was just on flat land you'd murder every one of them, certainly fooled me twice

I managed 3rd in AA with a very damp 80 but considering the targets and having to use fibres i'm fairly pleased with that.H/G was Andy Beal with a well shot 86 :good::good:

Got to say 'Well Done' to Nicky T,a really good score today, especially as it was his first visit :good:

p.s Ian you did win your class, well shot  Give Wolds a call and they should send your winnings on to you :good:
