jocko25
Nice looking fish, I would reckon around 24lb......

james79
good fish would say about the 20-22lbs mark
-Mongrel-
It is a good fish, but not a thirty in my opinion. It's a good length fish, with decent bulk but not thick enough, I'd happily give you twenty plus and wouldn't be at all surprised if it goes twenty-five. Tim Kelly
Looks high double to low twenty to me. They don't look long for this world though. Shame as you can do way more damage to a fishery by taking out the quality fish than you might imagine.
conor
was catch and release, kept a 5lb one once to eat it was horrible! how do you mean do damage tim? by lifting them out of the water?
hushpower
look at the size of the blokes hand its like a grizzlys paw ,from cutting meat and weighing large joints every day i think i have my eye in in weights ,i go 30ish still
leeds chimp
I would say high double to very low
Dunkield
My biggest pike was about that size, as Leeds Chimp has it spot on top end of 19 maybe into 20 if you are lucky. As it went back and you didn't weigh it I would call it a twenty if I were you I would have called mine twenty but unfortunately we had some scales which said otherwise :(
leeds chimp
Pike fishing is mainly what I do now as moved over from Carp. Its a nice fish and personally I like to underestimate any fish I get as it makes it when you get a big one a bit special then weighing it

leeds chimp
just a few over the last year or so..not the biggest I have had at all but dont really go for size as I tend to livebait more than deadbait

PigeonEater
Nice fish mate, i would estimate in the 20's. Theres no belly for it to be a 30 but it definetly has girth. Also, the pictures are of different fish? The bottom fish has a slit in the caudal, the top doesnt :\
conor
nice fish there leeds chimp. they good fighting fish pike always heard bad stories about them trout fishers mainly tho, only good pike is a dead one they recon! i got hooked tho. its a pity the fisheries board net and kill them where i am. ha ha thanks grasshopper! same fish there pigeon eater must be different angles, would of been a monster if she was in prime condition. still fish of a lifetime for me tho, will never forget the squeals out of my cousin when that lady came to the surface

Shame as you can do way more damage to a fishery by taking out the quality fish than you might imagine. No, I meant that removing (killing) large pike upsets the balance of the fishery and typically you end up with a lake full of jacks doing far more damage to the prey species in the lake than the fewer larger fish did. If the pike went back healthy then it's irrelevant, but they didn't look too well in the pictures.
