I know it's been discussed before, and many views are suggested to what wording is right to qualify you to shoot foxes with a rifle, but look at page 9 on recent BASC magazine. Basically it is saying you do not have to specifically have fox as a quarry species on your conditions, vermin will suffice.

I agree with you 30-6 that it is all down to the wording on your certificate! I have always classed fox as vermin but it seems that some see it classed differently for FAC and shooting purposes. You mention an article on Page 9 of the recent BASC Magazine which might help to clarify things. For those that do not get the BASC magazine (i.e. Those that are members of a different shooting organisation - I am with SACS) Would it be possible to give us some details of exactly what the BASC have to say on the matter in their magazine please.

Something interesting BASC magazine - for a minute there I thought you meant the Scottish news page, ESAWC clay team taking the WAGBI Cup home :huh::lol: :lol: :lol: oh how we larrrfed ;)

you've seen it Frenchie Dunkield scanned it in last week and it was discussed at length ;)

I thought the OP was taklking about some extra information that might have accompanied the article that was scanned and posted previously.

 

Al4x mate, I might have a few "senior moments" nowadays (Never more than half a dozen a day - The tablets are helping) but I am not completely senile(sp) or round the bend - Yet! :lol:
