mrpip
Shot this pigeon yesterday, decoyed perfect, its crop was full & felt rock hard, opened it up & found what I think is a growth of some description. Never seen anything like it before, when the skin of the crop was broken it fell out it appeared to be attached at the top. Decided to cut it in half (see picture) it looked like an onion, layers of hard fatty tissue. Just to add this one will not make its way into the food chain, although it appeared to otherwise look healthy plenty of meat on breast. Anyone seen anything like this before, thoughts

garyb
I found a pigeon walking around the tramlines the other day which was unable to fly. When I picked it up, I noticed it had something similar hanging out of it's ****! I quickly dispatched it.
