MAKING LEAD SHOT

ok,, heres one for you ,,after info on a "10 bore" brown bess,,, 1813,, firat of its stikeing just under half way down and just clipping the pan with the bottom jaw,, is this right? am i useing the wrong flint? its not for shooting its for show,so i do want it to look right,, allso i was sent leather patchs with a flint,, but have been told they used to use lead,, it this right please..thanks

 

You're probably better off starting a thread about it instead of putting your query in a thread that's totally unrelated to your question.

if i knew how ?... but with this being about lead shot i took it to be the right place,,

 

Its about making lead shot, there are loads of threads on the use of lead shot, the enviromental effects of lead shot, lead shot loads, the ballistics of lead shot. Your question is very specific to which gun the shot is for. Much better to start a thread of your own for it.

 

I'm sure the mods will point out how to start a new thread if you ask. :good:
