michigan boy Posted August 14, 2011 Report Share Posted August 14, 2011 Just wanted to say hello !I realize I am several thousand miles away from all of you,But I think I have something in common with you. I have recently been asked to help a local dairy farmer reduce the number of pigeons on his farming operation.A few days ago,a friend of mine and myself went pigeon hunting for the first time ever.We had a blast! We could have shot hundreds of birds,but we didnt,we only took 12.WE did not want to kill just for the sake of killing,we were hoping that these birds would be good table fare.We were not dissapointed,I grilled the delicious little breasts and could not believe how great they are!In this country pigeons are considered a trash bird,but I am going to attempt to change that,at least somewhat.Anyway,I just wanted to say "HI" and I look forward to spending more time on this site !
