darren m
would loved to have gone but being dragged to Burghley horse trials instead
twitchynik
would loved to have gone but being dragged to Burghley horse trials instead That's alright - you'll have a better class of lady wearing the tweed and Dubarry to look at than at the county fair
hushpower
went today was great weather and busy . it will be crammed saturday and sunday weather pending. All i saw was a couple of airguns for sale ,no shotgun or cartridge sales.Three or four pigeon shooting stalls ie,pigeon shooter, A1 decoys,aa decoys and one or maybe two others.A few stick stalls,a fishermans stride ,a small clay line ,compared with the past.Roast beef barms £5 :o horse meats alot cheaper, nay lad nay. oh and theirs a local knocking tent near the cricket pavilion well worth a vist
togger
Just got back from todays visit. We left an hour earlier than planned 'cos we had spent up and was starving!! Thanks Hitclay for the tickets. We visited the stand and had a shoot but was on the trap next to you with the elderley chap. You were a bit busy so I didn't get chance to speak. Some good displays on, plenty to see although as said above not much in the way of gun sales. Excellent day all round, even the wife enjoyed it, (her first country show), and I might have talked her into me getting my gundog sooner rather than later Togger

kipper
just got back had a good day but can't wait for weston park so i can stroke some guns  Went with the family yesterday. We all enjoyed the show just wish we had more time, we should have got our self organised the day before and set off earlier. (were only 25min away so our fault). Traffic was not to bad the way we went but I bet it was chaos on the main routes. Enjoyed watching some of the shows the horse riding comp was fantastic to watch. loads of dogs everywhere and all very well behaved . Watched some of the dog trials and they were very good. As said above not many guns on for sale. saw about 20ish shotguns/rifles for sale on 1 stall and a few air gun stalls. Bit dissapointing on the gun side of things but if you want gun porn go to weston All in all agood family show and a good day out Kipper. 100milesaway
Star shot was on. The actual 50 bird shoot was a treat, proper targets to test the big boys and a smattering of ones for everyone.I managed a 39/50 to take ladies, the shoot overall was won by Shaune Bramley on a 50/50. Phew some shooting. from Auntie.
