Lord Geordie
Nice Pic matey I am VERY lucky i see owls quite a bit while driving round Northumberland at dusk. Still a nice sight though. Even last time i was in Norfolk i was heading into the boat yard to launch my boat and there was a Barn owl sitting on the gate to the field and it just sat there even when i stopped the car to watch it. Dead-Eyed Duck
I was sat in a tree hide at dusk last year with a mate, waiting for Charlie. Tried a mouse squeak, and the next thing was a bzzzzzzzzz of wings and a little owl sat on a branch 10 feet away. It sat there for a minute, and then away it went. Never did see Charlie, but it made my night. Don

tenbears10
Saw a barn owl in the wood I shoot a few weeks ago, raised my gun to the movement out of the corner of my eye and then lowered and just watched it fly a past me few feet away. They are beautiful birds. Great photo Konings.
