The carbine is just a shorter barrel, as one of the disadvantages of carbines is that they due to the shorter barrel the pellets velocity is lower. So to extract the same power more air is used and thus the charges are more frequent. The accuracy issue can be an issue with some airgun manufacturers but HW have nailed it. On the upside the carbine is lighter and easier to use for hunting. I hope this makes sense.

As I would want to use it for both target and bunnies would the KS or the KT be the best option, as I have never used a thumb hole stock before?

The thumbhole is supposedly nicer to hold and shoot, but I couldn't stand the looks of it and bought the KS instead

The thumbhole also seems to me to sell for slightly less secondhand - handy if you're buying, but not so good if you're selling on.

No-one mentioned that the T stock is ambidexterous which might make a difference if the wife was left handed or vice versa. I have the sporter stock and just bought a T stock because I'm left eye dominant. At some point I'll change it over to find out if it makes a difference shooting left handed.
