remmy1100 Posted September 13, 2011 Report Share Posted September 13, 2011 never mind robson greens extreme fishing he wants to try holding a rifle steady in 70mph winds last night had to be the worst weather ive ever lamped rabbits in. visited a block ov recently cut barley fields most rabbits were sitting in tight to the hedgelines so was very challenging lining up the shot in such winds before rabbit hopped in managed to pick up 14 saw plenty more but limited my range to 50 yds to matain clean kills ..saw two foxes one ov which ran in to 10 feet away when i squeaked it other one in a different field came into 20 yds only had.22 so will be back up soon with hmr did anybody else venture out last night gave rabbit to a neighbour so pic ov 13 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

You have just made the job a lot harder now , try squeaking them next time and see what happens. well both foxs in seperate fields were heading towards me so gave one squeek and they sprinted in then turned and walked away I had no light on them . both were this years younguns . and I know will both come in again as they wernt spooked i could see them in moonlight as was full moon.
