ollie
Finally got the proper stock that I had ordered for my Howa 1500 .223 last night. So I went from this: To this: I couldn't get bullets to group at all with my old stock as we thought the stock was flexing and boy where we right; I went out this morning with the new stock and some reloads, this is what I came up with: I know it's not perfect but I'll take 1/2" any day of the week
henry_o
That's a good looking rifle ollie! Can i ask how much it cost you overall? Did you do the work yourself? I've always wondered about doing a little project like this myself, but worried I'd destroy a half decent gun!! Have you managed to get out in the field with it much? Henry I bought the howa new with this stock but it took a while for it to be ready.you can buy these stocks new from highland outdoors. Gary b I'm using n133 with 21.8gr n 55gr vmax. I've still a bit of load development to do though.
