DSPUK
Hope this is the right place to post this - I am not sure I agree with the method but it certainly seems to be the easiest way to control ferel hogs. the shooting pilot is exceptionally good at his job. This Texas feral hog shooting chopper video(LOACH on the job) is fascinating. The pilot has a fixed rifle(sounds like a 270) with optics rigged back to his helmet and eye-piece. He doesn't miss and his scout-chopper flying skills are down pat with the hogs behavior and pack or group running style. This came from Greg Cooper who has a huge ranch SE of Brownfield,Texas...south of Lubbock. I don't know where the chopper hog hunting op is but it is clearly West Tejas. This is a long run video but the hogs get it ! I don't see them dropping flags or stakes from the air to ground-mark their kills so as to go find them easily but I assume they "know" the country or wait for the turkey buzzards to tip them off. The pilot is really good ! dave
Spara Dritto
Hope this is the right place to post this Try "Sporting shooting videos" although, I personally wouldn't consider this very "sporting" This is a very controversial subject. Personally, I think it's disgusting. Edited October 3, 2011 by Beretta Italy

Dr_Scholl
Try "Sporting shooting videos" although, I personally wouldn't consider this very "sporting" This is a very controversial subject. Personally, I think it's disgusting. It's a cull. It isn't meant to be sporting, it's meant to kill a lot of animals in a short period of time. Cranfield
A number of very similar videos have appeared on here and all draw the " disgusting, cruel, unsporting, etc" comments. Don't lets all get sensitive, this is vermin control pure and simple. I am sure if there was a "sporting" way to do this (a bit like deer culling), someone would have worked it out and made some money.
Catweazle
That's certainly the most effective way to wound a lot of animals in open country.
