Went for a few hours this aft over a field just drilled with wheat. Very windy indeed making it quite testing but good fun. Finished with 18 consisting of Crows, Rooks, a Jackdaw and a pigeon. Put the hide up against a tree in the middle of the field.

You,d be surprized just how good crow or rook tastes :good:

Educate us please. I'm sure that there are some who would be willing to try "Crow Curry" so how do you cook it?

Having asked that I have to admit that it doesn't appeal that highly to me but I do believe in the old saying "Don't knock it till you've tried it"!

I just cut the breast off, and throw it in a frying pan with a slice of red onion, and hey presto,I,ve also had the rook and magpie cooked this way,and in all honesty it tastes like a bit of steak,go on,give it a try :good:
