webber
Has anyone bought any of these. If so are they any good? The casing looks like its transparent plastic, but a dose of camo tape would soon cure that! webber

webber
Simon Sorry, but I am rubbish at anything like that and dont have a clue how to. I found them whilst doing a search for clay trap. webber
webber
Thanks, they are the ones. I agree that the Debben are slim, but these are cheap, if they work ok. webber
henry d
A guy on a shoot had a pair and everytime he mounted the gun there was a clunk as he bumped the stock against the lugs.IMO I wouldn`t.
plexer
The trouble with ones like that is that you may find they interfere with your gun mount being so big at the bottom. If you look at shotgun ones even passive ones they are thinner at the bottom than the top for this reason. Ben
dazza
webber I've started to use these there brilliant http://www.allearplugs.com/AEP4/Hear-Plugs...e-(x1-pair).htm
Poacher
NO from me...buy cheap buy twice,,,,they look two big anyhow, you'd be walking around like dumbo but with two luminous yellow ears.. get some plugs, or slim defenders.
NickHead
Hi Guys, I just got a pair of the cheap £16.99 phones and have found that they catch the butt of the gun when I mount it. There is no other option either because if I try to change position, I cannot set the barrel properly. It will be fine for sitting about a clay shoot, and would have to use a set of small earplugs when shooting. Shame really because they work nice and do the job. I am glad really that I didn't pay a lot more for them because it would have been a waste. Totally happy with them though. RobF
I've got a pair and they're great, I only occasionally catch the stock on them. My only criticism would be the 'down' time after the bang is quite long, so I sometimes can't hear the trap arm cycle for slow on report birds. Country_est
Got the same ones myself. Was wearing them at Bisley. Got them from HERE same things but cheaper. Have never used muffs in the field but found that even with passive ones I caught the stock slightly when mounting. With these ones can move them before mounting and its OK, its only when I do a quick mount that Itemd to catch the stock. Having seen my scores from Bisley I dont think it would have made much difference, but on the range they certainly did. Trev
