sitsinhedges
Interesting, but cannot be shipped to the UK. From what I gather you have to tune the gas valve to a a chosen cartridge too, nevertheless the best idea so far. I just find that now the undergrowth is dying back, nice pale blue RC2's loaded with 32grams of no6 are easy to spot when they exit my Urika

steve_b_wales
Further to me 'designing' my own cartridge deflector, I have now, after many 'prototypes' come up with a very simple but effective one. Basically, I used a catch off a door frame, and fitted some metal banding (the type that secures breeze blocks)to it. It worked at first, but some cartridges missed the deflector band, so I have to add a cross piece. Tried it today, and I'm pleased to say that it worked everytime. It may not look good, but it does work. The only thing I'm looking at now, is a way to make it more secure when attached to my shotgun. I've only used strong double sided tape at the moment. I'm not too keen on a permanent fit, but I have some other idea's that may work. Watch this space! Steve.

huffhuff
I've been working on a deflector design myself. If it works, I'll post it here

Not sure I'd want to hang it off my gun though Edited November 27, 2011 by poontang
Dr_evil
Theres a thread about a Benelli shell catcher that someone made, could try to make something like it ? if not my suggestion would be a net held onto the gun with magnets
steve_b_wales
You need one of these http://www.ukgunworks.co.uk/proddetail.asp?prod=shellcatcher The difference being, that one costs, mine was free.
