There's a .410 Rossi Lever action on the market now for much less, I bought the first Winchester 9410 in the country, it's a great gun but not terribly practical for much.

The deactivated pistol is post 95 which makes it less valuable although the difference between pre and post 95 guns in terms of handguns is practically nothing it is only sub machine guns and assault rifles that were welded solid post 95

Heat cure Cerakote (the air dry is much much softer) is the best way forward pretty much everything else will scratch and mark very quickly Www.cerakote.com I can Cerakote it properly for not a lot.

Be very very very careful, I black hundreds of guns with a proper industrial six tank system and am currently nursing a serious burn from just a tiny tiny splash and that's wearing full protective gear.
