Sprags
I've heard they squeak like **** when walking, not sure how true that is but thats the reason I didn't get any, I opted for Meindl and rate them highly.

Scully
Have had a pair for years,as have a lot of others in our shoot.Good boots;warm, comfortable, waterproof, but for some reason, the leather always cracks. This doesn't mean they leak, the gore-tex membrane is still intact, just find the cracked leather annoying. Have just bought a pair of Harkila gore-tex boots from Norris',just up the road,in a more than half price sale.Assisstant said they were selling like hotcakes.Very light comfortable boots.Don't know if the sale is still on but give 'em a ring. polester
I bought a pair a couple of years ago. Had to wax the laces to stop the squeeking. The leather has cracked accross the toes despite being oiled and cleaned after use. For the money they cost I've been disaponted in them and will not be buying them again Le Chameau customer service is terrible with an attitude of "Nobody forced you to buy them"
kent
I have used them for years, mine have never creaked- not sure why that might be

Tam
Had a pair of Mouflon + for at least 8 years Treat them with Nikewax or dubbin - never had cold or wet feet
Dirty Harry
I have a pair. They are in their first season and I'm really pleased with them. They don't squeak and are not to hot when it's warm. I had a pair of meindl but the sole split after 2 years. You can get the mouflons in Kevlar instead of leather. If your worried about the leather splitting then it might be worth getting those. Harry
mallet
Had 4 pairs of Le chameau boots 2 pairs of Mouflon boots:- First Mouflons the Traditional leather and as stated here Cracked and squeaked all day long ended up using vaseline on the laces to stop all the squeaking they were comfy and didnt leak but for the money you pay I would expect better. Second Mouflons were the Kevlar ones and they too squeaked so more vaseline required they were comfy, then the lace eyes rusted and wore a hole in the kevlar coating and this pair did leak. As stated previously customer service very poor not one pair has lasted a year and I would never touch them again, if I was given a pair i'd sell them!!!
