Gordon R
Stick 1/2 or 1/4 in. Either will do. Edited November 18, 2011 by Gordon R

EdSolomons
Bang in the half and never worry about it again
Sco77w
I've got a 1/4 in my semi-auto and 1/4 and 1/2 in my O/U. I suppose either would be OK for sporting clays, maybe edging towards the more open chokes for skeet and tighter ones for trap. I supose there will be someone along soon who will say its more important to point it in the right direction. Some people get so hung up on choke selection, I've seen people swapping out chokes between stands when theres only 10 yards difference between the clays. SSS
Stick something fairly open in it, and don't think about it. It's only an extra excuse when you miss things.
bigfra
put half in and throw the rest away
Rimfireboy
I've shot plenty of ducks with cylinder choke, less is more in most situations. I use tighter chokes for walked up shooting but quarter and half should do wot ya need. Also if you connect with a heavy load and a tight choke you will cause a lot of meat damage and if you want to eat what you shoot, thats not good. I'd save the tight chokes mainly for foxes. That's just my opinion.
dougall
Agree with Gordon & Ed. however as it is a new toy you will no doubt try them all, have a good day with 1 and psychologically that will be the one you stick with!! If your clays are skeet then the most open,if sporting then either 1/4 or 1/2.Would only think about tighter if you are shooting trap/verging on getting v serious.
