Rabbits during the daytime?

I have got a mounting to fit my new camcorder to my rifle scopes so being a really nice afternoon I decided to take a walk on one of my permissions.

My main aim was to try to disprove what a member said about rabbit shooting during the day time where he claimed that rabbit shooting during the day was a waste of time and that you would not see any rabbits out in daylight hours.

While I did not get a chance of a shot at any rabbits this short video shows that you can and do see rabbits out during the day, and not just during the warmer summer months.

It also gave me a chance to check the zeroing on my .22LR "Pumper" which I haven't used for a while and to try some different ammunition.

Most of you might well find this video a bit boring but at least I know that the set up works well enough. Tomorrow I will be trying the camcorder mounted on my shotgun for some clay shooting, so fingers crossed and let's hope i can hit a few more clays than I normally do or I'm going to look a right ****!

I'm a big 'Frenchie Fan', He has a sound understanding of the countryside, and it's quarry, He's a regular, enthusiastic poster on here, giving advice, and offering to help other members out, and in my opinion, a genuine mr nice guy. If he'd have asked me if I thought he should post this video, I would have said probably not, purely for the reason that he would take some stick. I just hope this doesn't stop him from making further contributions. :/

Merry christmas All
