swiss.tony Posted November 26, 2011 Report Share Posted November 26, 2011 (edited) Wat terrible nite out went out for a few hrs with russ 1st feild 6 bunnys sat out 55 yard lamp on miss 2nd bunny 35yard miss ********* gun 10 mins later gun zeroed back up next were back in business. 3rd feild shot a heare picked up spun lamp round field and then total darkness oh good bulb gone in 170 and no spare so a 22 mile drive back to tescos for new bulb £5 later and maney swear words later we have smashed both bulbs because they were to fat on the pins so lesson is to carry spares fuses and bulbs so total cost of tripout was 35 quid in fuel..5 quid bulbs..... 12 bullets....4 quid jet wash on 4x4.....and 2 bottles of coke 2.40 total for 1hr 35 mins out was £46.40 for a scabby heare iv had better nites off bed with MARDY HEAD ON GOOD NITE LADYS Edited November 26, 2011 by swiss.tony Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I think we can all recall a disaster like that, I remember one of my first nights out with my nice new .22lr, I had borrowed a mates Deben something or other, the sockets kept falling out, fumbling about in the dark dropping batteries etc and never even got to have a shot. When you get nights like that it helps you really appreciate the better nights lamping. Like the song says - "Things can only get better"!
