SSS
Just thought I would share a few snaps from today at Doveridge Clay Sports club. Chunkyed, Aidan and myself went down today, as we do every Thursday afternoon, but this time I took along the camera. Shot string from Ed's shotgun... Aidan... Me... And finally... Comments on the photos welcome. Edited December 1, 2011 by SSS

ollie
No eye or ear protection ? I believe that is their choice. Why leave a comment like that without at least congratulating the poster for the pics . Great photos by the way SSS; how many attempts did it take you to get the shot string? SSS
I think the answer to your question is quite obvious Ian, go away... Thanks very much ollie. Not as many as I thought it would really to be honest, I took probably 50 shots, and out of them, maybe 15 or 20 were after the shot string. Nicky T
I think the answer to your question is quite obvious Ian, go away... That's a bit harsh; especially as you invited comments! Although the answer is obvious, some shooters are clearly surprised that you'd take an avoidable risk when you only have one set of eyes and ears :look:

Gordon R
The photos are excellent and way out of my league as a photographer. I think the comments about Ian are harsh. He made an observation - not a criticism. Not worth falling out over - concentrate on the positive aspects. Well done. :good:

Well done. :good: I do agree that the concentration should be on the positive aspects, exactly the point I was making. You'll find Ian made no reference to the positive aspects of the photos. SSS
That's a bit harsh; especially as you invited comments! Although the answer is obvious, some shooters are clearly surprised that you'd take an avoidable risk when you only have one set of eyes and ears :look: I invited comments on the photos, not on the choice of PPE... Thanks for the kind comments chaps
SSS
On looking at my reply, I probably was a little out of line, but we choose not to wear eye and ear protection. It's down to personal preference.
