mad1
Evening all I have just been looking through some shooting magazines and saw adverts for the show .. What's it like is it ok ? Is it worth 2 1/2 driving to get there ? Also anyone going down to meet up for a coffee ? M1
JustJon
Not seen details on this - I'd be tempted if I saw an advert... and I've read shooting times! Oops
TaxiDriver
Search through PW archives, Not much to be had in the way of bargains like you might hope for. Pretty busy, parking miles from show tents.

hodge911
went down feb this year was well worth the drive in my opinion if you pre book your tickets online you get them a little cheaper but the best bit is you get preferential parking permit and allowed in early [ well we were this feb] only had about a 100/120yd walk from the car . will go next feb if funds allow as i,ve just had to have a replacement engine fitted in the hilux surf :o

pegasus bridge
Newark is nice, even despite the high ratio of tethered scabby horses to grass verges. some good fishing right in the middle of it too.

True. I know someone who lives in Newark, and they've described it pretty much as you have. They also pointed out that Newark is an anagram of w***er. Know what i mean? True. I will be working there all weekend and only live down the road; accommodation wise there's abit, but it gets booked up quick. The tourist information centre is: 01636 655765 if it helps :') Also theres a clay shoot there, a few localish grounds and quite a few decent pubs/restaurants that are only a few minutes out the way.
