Have only ever been in the shop twice, both times it was locked and the owner was in the office downstairs and he unlocked it for me to have a mooch around. Thanks for putting their info on here - i have been to that site before and was going the buy because some of there prices are cheaper than what Ive seen locally. Being new to shooting I havent found a need yet to buy - but this does put me off buying online because I cant touch it and take it the same day. I am sure there are perfectly good sites out there, but like you said if they are advertising or linked to a reputable site of insurance etc like BASC then people will continue to buy from them. Hope you get a resolution soon, and I would be interested in knowing what BASC has to say about there association with them. I have only been a member of BASC for two weeks and DAVID on here has answered a few PM's for me, but I would be gutted to hear that they dont mind where there association sits. Devon Fox Posted February 3, 2012 Report Share Posted February 3, 2012 David BASC did bang the war drums a while back, but they soon bottled it for whatever reason, its a part of the reason I left BASC this Year, if they cant take care of a simple issue like removing crooks from the trde mags, I wander what they really do from there luxury castle, apart from send begging letters for the purchase of some old gun. al4x Posted June 15, 2012 Report Share Posted June 15, 2012 This topic reared its head on the Stalking directory yesterday when the said company seem to think they should be a BASC Trade member and have been harshly treated. To the point they are talking about legal action, stinks really with the number of disgruntled customers they have stitched up. Apparently it was all down to one person who has gone and all is different now. I for one hope BASC do tell them where to stick it and really when you look in the public domain and see they clocked up another CCJ in May thats enough to indicate things haven't changed. Looking they seem to still advertise as being a BASC trade member on their website which is pretty poor and really If the agro has made BASC back down then that is endorsing a company to continue to rip off their members which isn't on.
