pigeon netting hide with poles or a pop up hide?

As mentioned, I think you will be better off with hide poles and nets. I tried a pop up hide and as well as limiting your view of incoming birds it is also a lot more difficult to swing a gun in them. The only advantage of a pop up hide is that having a roof and sides keep you dry and out of the wind.

I fell for the pop up hide when I started up, used it half a dozen times lost half of my eighty quid selling it then the cost of the hide and poles o buy some.

4 poles with kick plates and solids spikes, adjustable. £40 for a decent set, a little more if you buy a make. And a Stealth net £30.

Personally I also use a clearview as well which cost me about £15 from someone off the forum.

This set up covers every situation all year round building any kind of hide I want.

You won't regret it.
