Leamons96
Seen 2 very cheap pcp rifles that both look like their good for my first pcp. Can someone enlighten me on which one would be a better choice. Just for rabbits and woddies. 1) http://www.sunderlandscubacentre.com/raider-2-pneumatic-air-rifle.html 2) http://www.solware.co.uk/air-pistol-air-rifle/DGS-Ultima-X-10-Shot-PCP-Air-Rifle.shtml

Simple fact is all the parts are Korean, does that mean its no good, not necessarily, but unless things have changed, these are manual magazine indexing, that is just cheap, although it is a 10 shot, they appear to shoot ok. Does it look familiar to you? Pretty much all hearsay as I have never touched one of these. The Webley is also cheap, and just a 2 shot Magazine, I have used the single shot and the 10 shot versions, they were ok and fitted me reasonably, balance was ok and shot ok. Entry level they are, they will suit some, which would I buy, Neither. Save some more money!

If yo want a rifle to last for the future and one where there is a re-sale value, then go for the extra and instead of getting 2, buy one good rifle. Dekers givs sound advice, far more and better than I could as I am new to air rifles having shot 12g and full bore in the past. Either way, go with the gut and also buy the best you can afford. Remember though, you will need a bottle, fitted with valve and hose. Good Shooting and a Merry Christmas Don

-Mongrel-
For what you'll pay for the Webley you'd get a 2nd hand Air Arms S200/400, either of which are , in my opinion, more of a gun and likely to outlast the Webley even if they are bought 2nd hand. bruno22rf
Find yourself an AA S200 in good nick and you wont lose very much(if any)when you sell it on.They are ugly but are ridiculously accurate and easy to use.
Livefast123
I think for that kind of money I would be looking to buy a secondhand rifle, you could probably pick one up with all the trimmings for that kind of price. I'll soon have an FN12 for sale with all the kit for that kind of money :yp:
kdubya
the webley raider is a VERY VERY good gun I had a 12lb 2 shot job ( only air I have now are two fac rapids) and to this day I wish I still had the raider for barn and paddock work etc, very accurate did the job well mnay bunnies and rats etc met their fate with the raider, and it was cheap to start off with.
