stupidsalmon
What about .177? SS
beatingisbest
What about .177? SS I can answer that for fulltime! He says that he doesnt like .177 because .22 hits harder, bigger pellet, .177 pellets are fiddly and basically he likes .22 a lot more! dr_nick
I have always thought the s400 was a far better looking rifle, and the build quality seems better. I would buy the s400 over the 200, which is what I am planning to do next week (given up on the Theoben).
stupidsalmon
I've my S400 for 2yrs now and dont think i'll ever consider moving on to another airgun, you wont regret it nick. Walnut option is also very nice, SS

(Formerly perry) I have an S200 .22 and the best silencer has to be the Air Arms you just donot hear it. Mine also has the 10 shot mag fitted. BAD points:- Plastic bolt lever (changed mine to stainles) 10 shot mag:- just be gentle!! Other than that its a good rifle

leeboy
I would buy one if it fitted my requirements. I have an S410k which I love and has been extremely reliable. However I dont think I would ever buy a single shot rifle again. I know they can be converted but I dont see the point of doing that over buying a multishot. Ian D
Well who voted no then? And why? .177 for me, all day long. The pellet flies a lot flatter, therefore needs less hold over/under for the same range with .22. I shot .22 for a long time thinking it was better, bigger bullet and all that. .177 does over penetrate at short range, but is vey deadly. It's all about shot placement. Ask the 13 bunnies, a friend and I shot on Saturday. Regards, Ian.

Is the cocking action quiet. The Bsa Ultra multi shot is £316 from youmgmans, you get a silencer and scope mounts in the price, might be worth considering. Im in two minds as it may be a false economy to have to buy s200 silencer and multishot conversion? I would love the s410 if i was not on a budget.
