Mungler
I can't get on too well with this IPad so the edit will come, pictures first... ME found a nice clean (1 previous lady owner with FSH) Suzuki Vitara in Nato "gloss" green. It's even got tax, MOT and fully comp insurance - anyone from North of Watford won't have seen a vehicle with that kind of specification. You will note the nice low key tyre upgrade and lift kit But do not be deceived.... it Transforms into the "The Bad Boy Mk2". This thread has been brought to you by ME, Alan L from Suffolk (welding supremo) and the local bozzos who gave it the full 'face palm' when ME and I rocked up for a mini valet in anticipation of this thread... Seriously though, today was the first chance I had had to see Alan's welding handy work on the concealed rear raised seat frame and foot rest - top job. I always like a bit of a skilled / precision anything, because that's not in me at all Edited January 8, 2012 by Mungler

Blunderbuss
It's certainly very Essex! It's very reassuring in an uncertain world, to find that some stereotypes still hold true Edited January 8, 2012 by Blunderbuss

88b
Exactly how heavy are the persons who are going to sit in it ? Very nice fabrication but just a tad over engineered.
wickedwickedmotox
We made one like this once.Dont advise this at all,we rolled it chasing a fox (easier than you think) one jumped just as it started to go the other bob jumped to late broke his ribs and wrist got off lightly, We now only use pickups with a dedicated frame if it goes you can duck down. You also have no seat belts although i dont know whats worse no blts flyying about or belts unable to escape! Suggest a roll frame!

You've never met the Essex boys then, trust me it needs pavman levels of box steel....
ME
Indeed, Alanl50 did a fantastic job on the welding. With the mincey reputation of the Suffolk lads on here, I was obviously a bit dubious being a good looking Essex boy venturing into Suffolk, but Alan is an ex Essex lad, so he has a wife (who makes lovely tea). I took the "Bad Boy" down to him before Christmas and he spent a day cutting the frame in to fit. These photos really don't do Alans skills justice. It is a work of art. I can honestly say that chasing anything in it is just not on the cards - it's just so obviously dangerous and top heavy (with us in it) This is the 2nd or 3rd year we've had this set up (bad boy Mk 1 rusted away and got weighed in) and out shooting its rare to get out of 2nd gear - round the edges of fields and always shooting only when the vehicle is stationary.
