GREENGRASS
Out and about first thing this morning yes it was still dark when I left the house. I know I am mad, the wife and daughters remind me on a regular basis now. The pool I went to after the Swans was frozen and no Swans. Now light so just take a drive round local patch and spot this buzzard, keep driving, keep eye ball on buzzard yes nearly crash. Park up grab camera and stalk :yp: the buzzard got within about 40 metres and shot a few off. I can confirm the ground was frozen solid and was struggling with cold fingers and the view finder kept steaming up. GG

Frenchieboy
What a brilliant photo that is mate! I trully do raise my hat to you getting such a great photo of a naturally wild B.O.P. at such close range. That is the signs of a really skilled wildlife photographer. Well done! I too was up at the crack of dawn exercising the greyhound, the raods were white with frost and ice! I also went out to try for a few crows during the late morning/early lunchtime and the ground was still that frozen it was almost impossible to get the pegs into for my decoys. I've just this minute got back in from roadwalking the dog and I can tell you it is bl**dy freezing up here!
