rapid basher
seen a right up about one in a magazine a bit back about them, sayin that they were a better than a magnet because that didint scar the birds away as much i was seriously thinking about getting one but was just wondering what the pw members thurt of them if not for pigeon maybe for crows
Redditch
I have one in Crow, and one in Dove (They didn't have pigeon from the States), and use them in combination with flappers and a 4 arm magnet. They are excellent, but use AA batteries (Although could probably be converted for lead acid, or just drop some rechargable AA's in).All in all a great product, and they come with their own carrying bag too
Cosd
Not sold on it myself. Personally I'd say get a real bird flapper.

rapid basher
i suppose that it wouldint be hard to convert to carry real birds but there agane it would need to be powered on a battrey as the aa"s wouldint be man enough :look: after this thred theyel be pattend be nex mounth Edited February 3, 2012 by rapid basher
Redditch
Nah the decoys spin about on the end of the metal rods, the rods moving intermintantly, so the decoys have to be light or they won't spin Edited February 3, 2012 by Redditch
chrispti
Not sold on it myself. Personally I'd say get a real bird flapper. Have to agree there
bicykillgaz
i've not even tried mine yet, i've seen footage on youtube and was impressed so got one, the crow decoys are a good quality decoy too, my only concern is its almost entirely made of plastic and looks a little flimsy compared to a metal rotary, not sure how much abuse it would take on a windy day. i paid about £48 posted for mine. hopefully i'll eventually get out to try it and i'll let you know how it goes. motty
I certainly wouldn't buy one.
steve_b_wales
I bought the dove ones from America. I took the fittings off the decoy doves, and fitted them to my own Crow decoys. Works a treat, especially for Jackdaw'a.
