Billy.
Latter dates for me please. I 100% can't do the 25th to the 1st. Not really sure what I'm being invited to, but 'camp' + 'men' + 'dates' + alcohol (assumption) sounds like fun.

The food was out of this world, and the company was also really good. I will be going along and I wil speak with Ben and Nik to see if they will also come along. Don't miss out on a great weekend. Thunderbird
Best to vote for all the dates you can make rather than one preference I reckon.
njc110381
I can do all of them as far as I know. Later is warmer though, could be worth keeping that in mind if there's a draw

It's my birthday the week before the final one and the current Mrs TB the week after so I'll hide the rolling pin now just in case.
ack-ack
I've put in for the last three dates, but don't let that put you off folks.
Brown Sauce
Reckon I'll be able to do most dates, though the 12th May will be at a push having just arrived back from holiday. Do we think a small marquee and a few tables might be worth it? The scouts usually have a selection of kit, could be worth asking.
Thunderbird
Make sure you stick your vote in. So far the last two dates look fave. I'll ask re the kit.
Thunderbird
Right I've heard back from the campsite and all dates are free apart from the 14th/15th April one. They're asking me to confirm ASAP as there is a waiting list apparently. I'm liaising with Mike over the other site but I'll see if I can get Conygres book with a date that as many of us can agree on as possible. If you see this post please spread the word. Favourite dates are going to be the end march one or the may one.
Thunderbird
PS the dates for Mike's possible site are unconfirmed at this stage however the mid April ones may be OK for that site.
activeviii
In that case im voting for May.
Fisherman Mike
I have a venue available at Macaroni Woods near Eastleach. Glos for the 12th - 13th May. Accomodation is available in Castree House for up to 16. and we can use the House facilities, showers, kitchen, Lounge etc. There is a charge of £15.00 per person per night which just about covers the centres expenses and is subject to a minimum of £150 per night. The centre is set in about 45 acres of ancient woodland, fire and hogroast no problem, Target shooting dependant on permission from the gamekeeper and there being no other parties in the vacinity. link.. http://www.macaroniwood.org.uk/facilities/castree-house/ Ideal location imo.. Got to book up quickly if we are interested please post up your thoughts and I assume we will go with the majority. Thanks Mike.
Thunderbird
Mike, thanks for your efforts on this and please get us 1st refusal if you can. Everyone else please have a gander. Is camping an option for those who would prefer it?
bakerboy
I will discuss this with the wife tonight, but it is looking good. Are we taking wives or is it more a boys week end? I am easy either way, please do not take that as "I am a slapper" Cheers Terry

Thunderbird
Cool. Looks like this site is going to be better for our needs and despite being a little more expensive it looks to provide a LOT more. It gets my vote. As Mike suggested camping is an option therefore we'll decide when we know numbers how best to split costs. OK then if you haven't done so already please vote for the May date or otherwise indicate you can do it. Also, PM me your email address if you haven't yet done it, as Mike and I will sort out an email list with relevant info on. The activities plan will be much the same, and if it's OK with Nick we'll forge ahead with the hog roast on the Sunday evening, but if Nick can't make it we'll improvise. It's going to be a case of each to their own and people can join in or do their own thing as they like. If anyone can offer something (a skill they're willing to share for example) just make it known here and those who are interested can shout. Looking forward to it.
